Irwins Widow Devastated By South Park Parody Message Board and Comments
Comments
I think you are all retarded. Steve Irwin was my idol and i will miss him just
as much as anyone. South Park is known for making fun of pretty much everything
under the sun. The fault of what her kids see does not fall on the show, but
the parrent. Bindi and Bob shouldnt be watching south park at that age to begin
with, nor should any child at that age. It is the responsability of the parents
to control what their kids watch and quite frankly, considering the whole damn
family is on animal planet, discovery channel, discovery kids, etc... and
considering what they all do for a living, i HIGHLY doubt they watch much of
anything else but animal related shows.
Steve Irwin learned his craft from frauds like Marlon Perkins of Mutual of
Omaha's Wild Kingdom. Both these hucksters used "canned" situations where tame
and semi-tame creatures were used to stage fake situations. Many of these
animals were hurt and harrassed just to create a cheap show barely above the
level of a Roman spectacle at the Colliseum. Those camera angles, multiple for
each situatiom, have to be planned and placed BEFORE any "action". Steve Irwin
was a FRAUD! Even CNN showed his trickery when they did some stories after his
death. They show Steve leaping on a Black Snake, then grappling with it, and
nearly getting bit. Then the Director said "cut" and the camera panned showing
the crew, and several cages, and a handler who rushed up to take the terrified
tame or semi-tame animal and put it back in it's cage.
Fu*k you Steve Irwin.
Rot in Hell, you animal abuser.

Steve's death was a tragic accident. But, Hollywood is Hollywood, and money is
money. If people don't know that by now, they might as well just stop watching
t.v., and never leave their homes. As far as Terri goes..I am sure she was
upset by it, but also she should be smart enough to know that was to be
expected..be it "South Park", or anything else. Personally speaking, Steve
Irwin should be resting in peace now, and let his family allow loving memories
in their hearts forever.
You wondering why people make these cartoon?
Many years ago where I´d looked WWF. I´m wondering, why parents go with there
children to the stadion. In Germany was that not possible. Thats not a sport
for children!
I don´t know how old must kids to see a horror film in the USA.
Why "play" kids "happy clapping"? Why learn they to shot with a gun?
At a US show from Helloween, I saw some things where I must saying: Horror! It
was a show for kids.
There is no respect for the nature, the animals, the religion and the human.
Now you wondering why the grade to making things in films or shows is not high
enough, why there is no respect?!
I echo the other comments that South Park is never for young children, their
including famous people in 'Hell' scenes soon after death is nothing new, and
that the portrayal of Irwin in the show wasn't mocking or ridiculing. I agree
it was unfortunate and unnecessary and even in the show it was said be to be
too soon. However by all accounts it won't show in the UK until well into 2007,
which isn't that soon. Some pundits publicly said rather unkind things about
Irwin after his death that got less reaction than this thirty silly seconds in
a cartoon.

What troubles me is that no one is talking about how the same episode of South
Park represents Catholic priests keeping naked boys on leashes, and a killing
spree by a trio of infamous (and also dead) serial killers. Are these concepts
so accepted that they draw no reaction by comparison?
Has anyone actually seen the show? I have and it was totally harmless, not
directed at Steve at all. It had to do with the many halloween parties where
people do show up as Steve. In the episode Satan throws a halloween party,
Steve shows up with stingray and all. Satan want's to kick Steve out for having
no empathy by dressing up as Steve, not knowing it is the real one. Steve says
"but it is me, Satan... I thought we were palls!" Satan kicks him out
for not wearing a costume.
All these people who are going crazy about this: Don't watch it. Problem
solved.
First, South Park is not a kid's cartoon. Cable TV is like a chainsaw -
useful, but not something to leave the kids alone with. This is a show that
depicts Gandhi in hell and only Mormons in heaven. I love the show, but
wouldn't let a child watch it.
The actual scene, for those who missed it, is thus:
Satan throws a Hallowwen party, parodying the over-the-top sweet sixteen
trend. He sees Irwin and says "That costume is totally uncool. It's too
soon." Irwin says "But I am Steve Irwin", and Satan replies, "Oh, no costume.
You'll have to leave."
Finally, I'm betting that there will be thousands of revelers dressed up in
"karkies" this week. Many will think its funny, but many will do it as a
tribute to Steve.
Steve Irwin's Widow "Devastated" yah . . . Im sure she is
all the way to the bank.
NOW were going to have to endure the CHILD in a jungle series . . .
Bindi, The Jungle Girl, a 26-part wildlife documentary.
Ill watch is the gator gobbles her up whole.
I guess if you don't watch the terrorist win.
Nothing is sacred in SOUTH PARK. But the complaints about the use of Irwin's
image in that episode made fun not of Irwin but rather about what's in good
taste and who gets to arbatrate.
Love SOUTH PARK, never say what's his names show
Max in Texas
Its incredible how some people can be so stupid. They should be ashamed of
their selves. I hope that they can live with the thought that they are on
purpose disrespectful and doing an immoral gesture. Millions of people will be
protesting against them. You people need to get a life. Are these messages
(that we are posting here) made known to the people in some way? Someone has to
present this terrible mistake that is about to happen to the entire world. We
cant let this happen!
People who are making fun of Steve's death ought to be ashamed of themselves.
Don't they know that the family has been through enough. They don't need stupid
people to add to their grief and make a mockery of his death.
