I am a huge Pink Floyd fan...have been one for over twenty years. Was saddened when Roger left, but was excited when David and Nick decided to pick up the pieces in 1985 and continue as Pink Floyd. That excitement paled in comparison to all four members reuniting for Live 8 in 2005. Would I love to see the four of them get back together? Absolutely. However, do I respect David's decision not to do it again? Absolutely. The truth is: we as fans were not there, did not experience the turmoil that went on between these guys back in 1983, 1985, etc., the battles that went on. I believe it would be very hard for David to want to go back to that, to take the chance that it wouldn't quickly disintegrate into that. Divorced couples rarely get back together for those obvious reasons. I believe David is content to know that Live 8 went very well and he wants to leave the good memory at that. That's not to say Roger hasn't changed: I believe he has. But I could see where it would be awfully hard to go back to that without the fear of it disintegrating to the ugliness again. That being said, I support David's decision, as a fan.

My feelings are Roger Waters is Pink Floyd despite gilmours overtaking of the title. Where was gilmour in 1967 with piper at the gates of dawn? Thank You Roger Waters for the great concert at Darien Lake this summer.
