Our state is fortunate to have your persona and good will celebrating our downtown Norman, Oklahoma with the James Garner Passage. Your genuine winsome smile and gracious spirit is a tribute to the wonderful performances and respectful craft you have portrayed in your career. Your career has endeared you to Oklahomans and the world. It just seems 'natural' to call you, 'Jim', although I will resist that temptation as I wish to express the respect you deserve from one who has not had the occasion to meet you.
