Well I loved it too. I saw it twice in the theatres and felt emotionally connected. The music, the scenery, the acting, the tragedy, all brilliant. How do you act a greek tragedy on film ? You gotta give 'em all credit. It ain't an easy task and they pulled it off. Two tough guys complained about the homoerotic content and walked out of the cinema expecting to see another Gladiator film. Whatever, this movie remains one of my true favorites. I love Colin because he puts so much passion and intensity in his roles. He goes all out all the time. Just watch the scene with Jonathan Rhys Meyer. Not many actors go that far. He just plunges in and you never know what to expect next. So be proud Colin that the fans of this movie understand and appreciate the true value of this film. I've met a lot of people who enjoyed it as well. I suppose it takes a mature audience to appreciate this film. Cheer up mate !

Well, I loved it! People didn't go to see the film because they read the rubbish reviews. I tend to judge for myself - I saw the film at the cinema and bought the DVD when it was released.

Well, I loved it and I bought the DVD - not many people saw it because they read the awful reviews. I tend to judge for myself - if they had they might have seen a really good film!!!!!!!
