Daltrey Supports Beatles Ban Message Board and Comments

The Beatles have been WAY overplayed for the past 4+ decades. There is a lot of great music from the British Invasion that gets totally ignored. Beatles fans probably own every breath that they ever recorded and are ignorant of everything else. If you have to listen to Beatle music then listen at home. This poll was right on the money.

The Beatles have an expiration date? is he having a laugh? when will that OLD man realise he is far past is? I'm sorry but when was the last time the WHO had a hit that was worthy of playing on the radio? their best stuff was back in the 60's along with the beatles music. Great live band but nowhere near the importance of the beatles, he must really want to get some publicity, are they about to tour or something? foolish old man!

The Beatles should NEVER be taken off of any radio station playlist - worldwide. What the hell is Daltry's problem to say something like that. The Who were a great band but they are lightyears away from ever reaching what the Beatles are, were and will always be in Music history. Daltry needs to adjust the medication. The Beatles dont have "an expiration date".

I loved the Who but mystyfied why Daltry should come out with this and also the Radio station too? Is this all to get himself noticed? And the Radio station? Who are they? It is taking away the freedom of peoples choices. Not everyone give their view but what is the point of it all? To get noticed!Rememeber burn The Beatles records in the USA in the 60s? It is a publicity stunt to get recognised. I am afraid Mr Daltry is not recognised much today so his comments will not make much ground. In the 60s he would not have dared say what he has.The Beatles were gods in those days and The Who would have certainly been ignored, like now.I like Pete Townsend music and i respect Daltry.He is entitled to his opinion but there are limits to what he says and what Radio Stations do.Who are they?

he's just jealous of the beatles popularity,.im a big fan of the beatles,..to mr.daltrey my message for u is you shouldn't have said that,just accept that the music of the beatles will live on forever,.i listen to your band but i was surprised with what you've said,..don't know what's zak reaction about that,..

i just lost all respect for roger daltrey. what a f*****g loser. maybe he is just jealous that the beatles are better than his band. and what about zak starkey who's the drummer for the who? Ringos son!! i'd take that alittle personally if i were him.
