If my wife was an actress i would not mind at all being the fill in for the romantic scenes.I find it laudable that the producers of this movie were willing to be creative in order to help kirk keep his marital convictions. would that we all realized the sacredness and the fragility of trust involved with a loving relationship.

Silly? No, it is not silly, just more respectful and honoring to his spouse than perhaps... you, and others like you who do not cherish the oneness of marriage. Some day you too may understand why he has this conviction.

Kirk Cameron didn't "force" producers to cast his wife for the 'kissing' scene in FIREPROOF...the producers are pastors who are part of small band of Christian film/video producers who hold to the same principle as Kirk to not have married people kiss anyone who is not their spouse. Silly, i know, but it's their conviction. Let it be.
