Well said above, Michael is da man! i don't care what no body says. All these artist out now are all influenced by him and trying to even be like him. I'm not putting Bono down his a icon in his own right but Mike shoulda been number one. To Beyonce to Justin Timberlake all these artist have been influenced by him. I don't care Mike is number one and always will be.

racism at its peak, this is absolutely faulse micheal is the greatest pop singer of all time, where was bono when micheal wrote WE ARE THE WORLD,all his life he has given to charity, this is what he gets betrayal from stupid mtv,why dont they place him last cause they are scared, even the guiness book of record testified to that, that micheal jacksons charitys work its the greatest for an entertainer, his lyrics are unbeatable till date so mtv should at least go to hell micheal is still the king of pop.

Michael Jackson above Bono, I don't think so, all Michael seems to be remembered for is his plastic surgery, dangling children off balconies and alleged suspect behaviour with kids, oh yeah and sleeping in an oxygen tent and his pet monkey Bubbles, wake up and smell the coffee. Bono has been involved in many causes, i didnt see Michael Jackson visit the poor starving kids in Ethiopia, Bono and his wife did with no publicity at the time, suppose Michael was too busy picking his nose, from the plastic surgeons catalogue!!!

and i wholeheartedly agree on this. as a fan i'm so proud of him. to care so much for the burning continent and to spend so much time here in america lobbying on their behalf, he's an example to many. there is no single group or platform that this man will not embrace to extract the good out of for the people of africa. amazing. i am surprised to see Bob Geldof is not on the list here. but in his strong quiet way he is a major influence behind the scenes. thanx for posting this. i was proud to vote. . . . .and yes, my man won! stay close, sammi
