Batman Screener Audiences Upset By Ledger Bodybag Scene Message Board and Comments
Comments
From all the comments I've read of people who knew Heath on the set, it seems he
put his heart and soul, everything he had into playing this part.
I think that it should be left as it was originally intended, to honor his final
complete performance.
I also agree with Gajonka, Nolan will almost certainly have a fairly good idea on
Heath's thoughts on that scene. Ask him what he thinks.
the batman screener audience sounds like a bunch of f**k'n babies who need to get
over it and realize ledger probably liked that scene.
Heath played his part in the film. Its art plain and simple. I positive Heath would've
not done the scene if he felt that it would have create the freakishness that is
the Joker.
This film should not be at the mercy of a lucky few. These people may not even be
the proper audience to screen a film of this nature. THE FILM IS ABOVE THEM. ABOVE
US ALL.
Warner Brothers should ask NOLAN, what did HEATH think about the scene? Did he like
it, did he feel it had an important visual required for the balance of the film.
Did it give the audience additional color on his character, THE JOKER. Nolan will
know, and then he must tell them. KEEP IT IN, the screeners sound like babies anyway.
