Barnes Recovering From Heart Surgery Message Board and Comments

Hi Jimmy, I had the same surgery 22 years ago this month. I had a birth defect that was not discovered until then. I am now 70 years old. I am on Warfarin that is monitored. I was told that my short-term memory problems are due to the operation. I have always been very active and the Doc told me I was the healthiest, sickest patient he had. The oparation has not affected my lifestyle. I still make timber products in my workshop. I wish you the best for the future, regards R.W.
