Abrams Star Trek Will Go Where No Film Has Gone Before Message Board and Comments

How can these new neo-Startrek minds think that they can veer off from the manner in which Startrek was designed, and expect it to do more than just flounder. Have you not learned from the "Enterprise" series. You need the Startrek fans to enjoy it for it to do anything notable at the box office. The Original series had special qualities that gave hope to many, change that quality and it is no longer Startrek.
