Cheers mate... Didn't mean to upset anyone... If you read the original review here www.adultcontemporary.co.uk/index.cfm?d=25/01/2009#Andrew%20Bird you might see more of what I intended... Call what Mark Nevers what you want, but this wasn't self-produced... As he 'engineered, assistant engineered and mixed' the record, he's pretty heavily involved, and he has changed the sound, wouldn't you agree? You'll have to allow me my opinion, but I have been 'with' Andrew Bird for a long time too (look at the previous reviews on that site)... I like this one less than I have previously. We're all entitled 'mate'

The album is produced by Andrew Bird--read the liner notes & get a fact checker, dude! Also, there aren't really a greater number of musicians on the album compared to Eggs and Armchair--if anything, the previous album had a more "indie" rock texture. This one is sometimes sparse by comparison, though past the surface values you'll hear a lot of layers this reviewer (aka "dude") appears to ignore.
