Tristan & Isolde Movie Review Message Board and Comments

Well, I really liked this movie and agree with most comments made by the reviewer above (apart from the Wictred/Morholdt mix-up...). My main problem with the movie is that I have problems sympathising with the character of Tristan - Lord Marke is far more likeable and honourable and Tristan does strike you at times as a bit of an ungrateful little sod, not to mention the very real danger he is also putting Isolde into. So as far as the love story goes, I probably would have preferred to pair her with Lord Marke - and that's not really the intention of the movie I suppose...

Hahahaha. I was gonna say that; Her fiance is Moholdt.

Um... Her fiance is not Wictred... His name is Morholdt. Wictred is the guy who kills Tristan at the end of the movie.
