The scenes in this movie of the game at West Virginia are completely fictitous and have NO basis in fact. WVU played AT Syracuse in 1959. Ernie Davis played at Morgantown(WVU) in 1960, and all of the REAL players from Syracuse involved in that game say that nothing like what is depicted in the movie ever happened. The scenes of West Virginia fans in this movie are completely false and a creation of the film makers, NOT BASED ON THE TRUE STORY.
