Georgia Rule Movie Review Message Board and Comments

Oh, I guess this movie needed a car chase or two to be really exciting and meaningful. (Or how about a robot or evil villain). Well, there was a little car chase. Okay, I like movies that are trying to say something. Maybe the audiences these days aren't into esoteric messages. Or feelings, or bad step parents. They do exist. I also enjoyed the fact that some of the actors could actually portray a character. Imagine that? So rare these days. As for Lindsay Lohan, so what if she was playing herself? At least she did a good job of it. Jane Fonda and Felicity Huffman were both excellent. My one objection might be the teenage wannabe Mormon crusader. That was a little much. All in all I don't think it deserves 1/2 *.
