Calamity Jane Movie Review Message Board and Comments

I can't imagine that we would be talking about the same movie. This is a MUSICAL, if you want reality, watch a foreign film. Actually, Calamity Jane is considered to have one of the scores to come out of a movie that not originally a stage show. One of the songs made the charts and was a huge hit. The opening number has the catchiness of the opening of Beauty and the Beast (which set the tone for the cartoon as having a very Bway style score). The movie is extremely entertaining, and except for the use of backscreen projection on some of the numbers, this movie is quite good. Guess musicals are not your thing.
