South By South West Music Festival Message Board and Comments

Went to the Van Morrison concert Tuesday night. The music was wonderful and the man sings wonerfully,but into the first song he requested the bars serving drinks in the venue to be closed. There continued to be several people sitting around us that were served some type of drink by waiters. This was not fair to the fans who paid no less that $100.00 to see a show that was an hour and 30 minutes long. If the man has moral issues with alcohol it should be across the board, and the bars should have been allowed to sell other refreshments such as WATER. Very disappointed.
