Oliver Stone is a geedy, ignorant moron! He has no idea of the kind of animal HUGO CHAVEZ is!!!! How dare he make a movie about a man hose hands are full of blood????!! What an animal! I can't believe it! I will make sure I spread the news around I will NEVER see one os his movies EVER AGAIN!!!!

Oliver Stone is one of the greatest American Film Directors, however what is his obsession with Fidel Castro and his likes? Is it that he would have liked to have his power? Is it that Mr. Castro is Cuban? or Could it be that Fidel has been able to survive without the "great Evil Empire" and its $$$$? I have an answer for Mr. Stone: If you are fascinated by the power, you have those powers as well, make a great film that tells the truth about FIDEL. Cuba has had many great men; Jose Marti, Father Varela, FIDEL is not one of them. Mr. Stone can also be like Castro and give up the "great evil Empire", just move to Cuba, make your films there and get paid in pesos. By the way there is another great $$$ EVIL Empire, its called HOLLYWOOD, USA. I have a final request for Hollywood just make movies and shut up!!!!!!!!!

I sense a bit a hostility here. If you truley don't like Oliver Stone or any of his beliefs, what are even on this forum writing for? We live in a nation that has free speech, et feel free to voice your opinion-you don't have to attack someone who just doesn't see things from your point of view. I think that this film had a very healing quality to it for a lot of people. Just because you don't agree /c someone doesn't make you bad, just means you aren't going to follow the crowd. Oliver Stone assumes anyone who disagrees with him is an uneducated boob. However, most of the Hollywood bunch has little or NO education, definitely no college education. They have never bothered to read the Bible. That would help their limited education, IF they would even do that. The Bible has much wonderful information in it. You would know if you read the Bible that what is going on in Iraq is much the same as has gone on there for thousands of years. We are at a time in our history when people need to be aware of the world's past history. Iraq is in the middle of a political battle not just with us, but with the rest of the world. This is a spiritual war as well. These people want to eliminate us from the face of the earth. Mr. Stone would never be able to produce one of his films ever again if we were under Islamic rule. They are against every kind of immoral act. They would consider all of his films immoral and would probably kill him for trying to produce his films. I choose to let every one come to their own decision about how they feel. However, when a person of Mr. Stone's influence speaks, he offends anyone who disagrees with him. However, he thinks he has the power to brainwash all of us. I have a college degree BA and MA from two universities. I have advanced studies also from some of the finest universities in the US. I consider myself to be well viewed. I read and keep up with the news. I also go to church and read my Bible. It would behoove him to do the same.

I was going to write my own comment, however the two gentlemen above have pretty much summed up how 51% of the country feels. DITTO to all of the above and can we throw Bill Maher in with the rest of the National Socialist Democractic Party.

I don't take my political views to work so why do these Hollywood prima donnas think they have the right to take their politics to work ?? Oliver Stone's comment about President Bush's reaction to the 9/11 attack is an excellent example of the belief system and the lack of basic knowledge of the economy by this limo-liberal. "He created a war in Iraq that has further helped bust the economy,..." shows just how, well, just how plain stupid Stone really is. Today (7/29) it was reported that the nation's GDP grew at 3.4% in the second quarter of 2005. That makes NINE straight quarters of growth over 3.0%, a feat that didn't even occur during the dot.com heady days of the 90's during the Administration of his beloved Bill Clinton. Go ahead and make your dumb movie, Stone. It will be about as well received as that hunk of celloid junk you put out last year, "Alexander." What an idiot!

Oliver Stone is a liberal anti American piece of s**t. He is a f**king idiot who should have his ass booted out of this country for just being a f**k head.

Mr. Stone is wrong on three counts in the article about his opinions on 9/11 and the President's power. First, he (we) didn't create any war - the radical Muslims did. Second, the economy is far from busted - it is doing very well (including a better-than-expected deficit result - moving us in the right direction on that). Third, there is no civil war in Iraq - but, if one does occur, it will be because of radicals. Democracy must win in the Middle East or radical Islam will not be controlled. THERE IS NO JUSTIFICATION FOR SUICIDE BOMBINGS. There has to be more outcry from the rest of the Islamic world regarding it's radical factions. Oh, and Oliver Stone should stick to movies about football.
