Attended Perth Concert Hall Wednesday 16th April 2008 enjoyed the concert very much
- was ashamed that some walked out - Having seen Marti "Chicago"
realised that there was more to him than Wet Wet Wet.Good to here such clear diction
and an obvious enjoyment in the choosen songs - showed a different mature side -
everybody has to move on

i am arecent fan having been to Powdernham Castle
which was my first introduction and then to see Marti at the Lyceum London
where is voice sounded e
even more incredible- just the two of us was great
and hannanh and marti were the deserved winners
-some of the others were way too serious - looking forwrd to more shows in 2007
I'm a huge Marti Pellow fan, have even called my cat after him!
This past week has been wonderful, watching him perform on 'Just the Two of Us'
along with Hannah Waterman. It is was brilliant to see him win.
He has had pretty tough life and yet he always smiles, a smile that makes most
women weak at the knees. And he has the most wonderful eyes.
I too have had a pretty tough ride over the years, more so since I married my
ex in 2001, he turned out to be a violent alcoholic, and now partly through the
ex I am still having a bit of a tough time with my 15 year old son.
I, probably like thousands of others would love to meet Marti, just to sit and
have a chat about each others lives and see if we could help one another. But
I know that its just a dream.
I'm not sure if he will ever read this message, but if he does, I would just
like to say, that I look forward to hearing some new music from him in the very
near furture, and I hope that he performs sometime soon in Newcastle.
All My Love
Val
xx
The recent Marti Pellow tour was nothing short of marvellous. It showed us a
new improved Marti, not wanting the youthful screams and idolisation but the
more mature appreciation his thoughtful lyrics and melodies deserve. He sings
with a voice of crushed velvet that will last forever. We need more in the very
near future! Please Marti.
