Why is there only one photo of the REAL Marilyn Monroe in this story. The rest are an impersonator's image. Although she is a good impersonator, it makes your story much LESS credible when you can't even get your photos right.

i have found a pencil sketch that has to be marilyn (a partial nude) signed Stanfield and dated 4-20-55. anyone got any idea who the artist is (full name?) this is a very unusual sketch with pictures hidden within the sketch. sandi

"tired of hearing about it...", those are the stereo typical comments that we are used to hearing about Marilyn Monroe. As the die-hard MM fan I am, I can obviously tell you know nothing about the woman she was. Most of the old Hollywood legends we know slept with studio executives to get what they wanted. The only reason Marilyn's tryst's are more commonly known is because she became such a huge star. And I sorely disagree that she wouldn't be as popular if she had lived. Marilyn's sexiness is what attracts people to her, no doubt, but it's her silly, fun, INTELLIGENT personal persona that makes them fans. I will forever love the WOMAN, Marilyn, not the "dumb blonde" sex symbol she was made out to be.

Marilyn is better then the old stars of Hollywood. When a filmfestivale shows a Marilyn Monroe movie on a sunday night the room is packed to the ceiling.Nothing happens with Audrey Hepburn,Lana Turner ETC.IT'S ALL MARILYN!!!!!!!! LOVE HER

Quite frankly, I'm pretty tired of hearing about this pathetic woman who used her body to get what she wanted, and then some. While she was attractive, I guarantee that she would not have the 'staying power' she does now had she not died. The 'mystique' would have ended and she'd be (if she lived this long) an old, sagging, tired, trying to be 'young' actress, unlike true 'actors' of the old screen ie: Bacall, tha late Audry Hepburn, Jane Russell. Maureen O'Hara. These woman are fine examples of beautiful, talented, and INTELLIGENT people who honed their craft and carried themselves like ladies... Ms. Marilyn was a poster child for 'sleeping your way to the top'-but, you play-you pay....
