so what if the man with the voice was gay? what difference does that make? he had a talent that no-one else can compete with. he was loved for his voice and his music and what he thought or did in his private life is nobody's business. he came to glasgow twice and i saw him both times. he will certainly live in my memory whether gay or not.

I continue to feel saddened about Luthers passing. I know in my heart he is in a better place and he is watching us from above. I listen to his music in my car every day and look to the heavens and for signs that he is happy. Today I saw hearts in the clouds, a symbol about what Luthers music was all about....LOVE. My heart goes out to Mrs. Vandross and all of us that will no longer hear any new music from Luther but cherish what he has given us. I love you Luther. Doreen

To Mrs. Vandross, Thank you for being the mother of the most wonderful male vocalist I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. Know that Luther's music definitely lives on. His belief in love pours through every note of his music, whether written or sung. My prayers are with you and yours. Val.

First I would like to say that Luther will be truly missed. He was a great man, I didn't know him personally but thru his music, I really knew him well. I knew him so well that I had his song, Here And Now song at my wedding on January 8th 2005. The whole church was inspired by that song. There wasn't a dry eye in the church....not even mine are my husbands. That was a song that just touched my heart in more ways than one. You will be truly missed. I pray that his mother and family memebers will have the strength to go on and carry out his work, because it is work that will never be invane, and will live on forever. I Love You Luther, for who you where, and will continue to be in Heaven. You may be gone, but never forgotten. Heaven couldn't wait to get a Great Man like you. You will Live On Luther!!!!
