And he has aged VERY well. I've never seen a movie (I've seen them all) that I didn't like. Johnny is a sweet, shy person off screen, but one would definitely not know it when he's "in character on screen." He is the ONLY man I know who looks awesome in thick eye liner and dirt (Pirates) *smile*. No matter what they do to him, NO ONE CAN MAKE THAT HUNK UNGY! It just can't be done! Johnny Depp should be named the greatest actor of our time. Is there actually anything he can't do! Although, POTC 1 was great. An absolute breakthrough for him and Orlando Bloom. But POTC 2 was a snooze fest. I cannot beleive it got more stars than POTC 1. I think he is fantastic in all his films. No matter how lame the film is, he always makes me love it. He is the best. I really liked his bit on Letterman in 2006 about painting over a billboard in the middle of the night. It was him holding a gun and the headline was "other kids pack lunch." I can't believe that I read a recent article on this site that stated that Johnny Depp has said that he will retire at 50, all I can say is Johnny please reconsider, without you cinema will be dull,dull dull. Who have we got? Brad Pitt, pretty face pretty bland, George Clooney, nice looking but boring, Keanu, nice face shame about the acting and lastly Tom Cruise. This guy does nothing for me he is Mr charisma by-pass. I read one article that said he would not take a role because it was not macho enough, a situation that would not happen with Johnny if the role appeals, he does it. In the Libertine he is a 40 year old playing a 30 year old and he looks like a 20 year old, he will be gorgeous when he is 80. Don't do it Johnny, your fans are legion and you are the best thing about Hollywood today.

I think Johnny Depp is the best actor I've ever seen. He really knows how to play a character. I have only seen a few of his films, but I plan to see many more. My mom was the one that told me about Johnny Depp(she's practically in love)and some of the movies he's played in. Since then I have been searching online for anything with him in it. I think that he is very talented and of course the sexiest man alive. I really don't know alot about him, but I would like to learn more. I am glad I heard about him, he really inspires me.

I think Johnny is very inspirational, and I admire his work. Its important for actors to play big parts in weird films e/g Edward Scissor hands. Not many actors/actresses would play a part like that. I like the fact that he isn't the american lemming (copying everybody else) all actors these days seem to do is want to be the bell of the ball, they have to have the glamorous, glitzy "best" parts in films, it really p****s me off. I just saw pirates of The Carribean 2 last weekend! I don't think acting gets any better than that for Johnny. He is amazing and im so glad he will be in the third movie!! When i was watching the movieni got so jealous because he kissed Keira, but thats ok because she is an amazing actor as well. I wish him the best of luck with everything. Love you Johnny!!!

Johnny Depp, what can you say? I think he is a very skilled actor. I think I liked him best in Finding Neverland and Secret Window. I value his work as an actor and always look forward to any movie he does for I know he will do it justice. However I DON'T want to "fall in love" with him or "have sex with him all night" (yes I'm a woman who doesn't want to have sex with Johnny Depp) he's what 42. I doubt he can go all night anyways, you usaully slow down about 38 so I wouldn't want to disappoint myself. However if Johnny would ever happen to fall in the same room as I'm in ,I think I'd be more interested in learnig about him and his ability to produce such an enthrawing character in his movies. But hey who am I right! I'm a peasent in this lovely world but if sitting here at 3:30 in the morning writing what I think of Johnny Depp inlightens any one well then, so be it!!!! luv your work J.C. Yes Johnny Depp is the best actor ever to have graced our screens. He does take films others would find hard to do either because they cannot or they think it might not make them enough money..... he takes on roles because he likes them and if he likes them then you know its gonna be fantastic. I love everything about the American indians myths, history and culture. I often wonder how Johnny feels about his lineage; whether hes proud of it; or whether he would rather not think about it, I would love to know what he thinks. He seems to be such a quiet, reflective kind of person who doesn't seek much of the limelight that goes with being a famous world wide actor; which I think is a credit to him; and wonder if this is why he keeps his personal and family life very much to himself. I just know that he is a wonderfully talented person who has given so many people so much enjoyment; which I can only with say with many others; a very big thank you, for sharing your talent and time with us; and hope that you will continue to do so in many years to come.
