whats good this is kostco from staten island new york. i just want to send my props to def jam and i know its alot of "rappers that want the fame and thats it" well its not about the fame from my opinion. i really been doing music for ten years straight and i been trying to go real hard with my music. so the only way i can really get myself known is by going to gigs and putting my website out for people to notice me. then sell my music (self promotion). and i know im not the best at mixing down recording and other stuff (due to 16 bit recording)i do have what it takes. just need to see what people think about my music. im not asking for a deal or anything like that. To whom it concerns at Def Jam Records. I was floored to hear that JAY-Z is dropping another album and is out of retirement (Entertainment Weekly). I recently copped his Black Album (acappella) and have done some remixes. I know for a fact J would love to hear it. It contains absolutely no samples (which I personally think some producers can only make their beats with) and all tracks have got that 'bounce' that Jigga prefers. My remix of 'Moment Of Clarity' kills Eminems', and could very well have made the Black album. I know your company gets thousands of letters, e-mails, and phone calls from artists who all claim to have what it takes. If you could please take a few minutes out of your very busy and hectic schedules to listen, you WILL NOT be dissapointed. Wouldn't J love to have a fresh producer with an unlimited creative imagination, original and sample free beats that kicks, and an incredible ear for the right sound for the right track?
