Charlotte Church Message Board and Comments

Id just like to say as a fan of Miss Church's Music i was appalled by her lack
of judgement in a childish attemp to become a "TV presenter" The programme
lacks any substance and is further ruined by the presence of a foul mouthed,
vitriolic wannabe.... This Girl knocks spots off of The crash that befell dear
old Davina....
Stick to what you know Charlotte leave the Journalism to the grown ups...
just started a new site got new charlotte church wallpapers so check them out

Dear Charlotte
I am really sorry to bother you but would be indebted to you for any help that
you might be able to offer me.
My brother has been missing for several years and was a 'very good friend'
(supposedly?) of Jonathan Shalit and another man by the name of Stephen Morris.
I have been in regular contact with Jonathan as I found his name amongst my
brother's belongings.
At the outset of my enquiries Jonathan Shalit was most helpful and, whilst I
never pressed him for exact details of his relationship, together with Stephen
Morris' friendship, he did indicate that my brother had been in touch with him
and that he had offered to bring him back to England for treatment in a private
hospital here!
I have no idea why my brother was (assumedly) so ill and since Jonathan asked
me for further details as to my enquiries, I have heard absolutely nothing.
I fear that I must have offended him in some way as he had asked me what
exactly I knew concerning my brother's disappearance. It is since I answered
this question that I have not been able to contact Jonathan or Stephen Morris
again.
Please may I urge you to respond to me and particularly I am wondering if
Jonathan does not like women!
Thank you for your time.
With kindest regards,
Nadia Latham (Mrs)

Hmm...I must admit I'm not aware of the comments made about the beatles and bob
dylan, however I personally think both are somewhat overrated. The Beatles, yes
the time in which they performed made a great impact on music history and most
people will know the words to many songs, but I just think they captured a
niche and basically got very lucky. Their songs and music aren't really
anything amazing compared to other bands of the time like The Kinks, The Who
and indeed The Rolling Stones - which, incidentally, are still making music
together (with the exception of the kinks) unlike the beatles. Even though Paul
McCartney insists on capitalising on his bands previous successes.
As for Bob Dylan... the man can barely sing in reality. I'm at a loss as to why
his music has in fact been so successful over time. I find the likes of 'Born
in the USA' and others fairly repetitive and boring. Bob has produced some more
original tracks, however, such as 'Blowin in the Wind' and of course 'Knockin
on Heavens Door'. Nevertheless, he's certainly not the only artist to have done
so, and to attack Charlotte because of her age I think is somewhat patronising.
Clearly, she must have some idea of how the industry works, having been a part
of it for 10 years.
Her latest album, Tissues & Issues is an impressive collection of songs of
varied styles, all of which are very much her own and a joy to listen to. Lend
some credit to the girl, she's one of the most down to earth
artists/celebrities the UK has to offer.
I do agree that the beatles and dylan are idols but, charlotte church is so
young that you can't expect her to understand the impact those and others have
had on the musical scene. I think she has an independence and zest for life
that will eventually show through in her music. Until then we should just enjoy
it for what it is...Cute songs sung by an extremely talented young woman.
Too bad I'll never listen to her. Anyone who can dismiss the Beatles, Dylan and
the Stones in one breath is obviously not very deep, and I won't waste my time
on shallow muzak.
