Burt Bacharach is a washed up singer who is hanging on for dear life. He's a typical whining liberal who is taking pot shots at the President at the expense of the hurricane victims. He should be ashamed of himself. If he and all these other celebrities don't like it, why don't they leave? We are sick and tired of listening to their bulls**t.

What an idiot! The same funding requirements requested by agencies in Louisiana were asked of the Clinton Administration and before. Monies funded to agencies responsible for building and re-engineering were squandered on casinos. These same problems existed well before President Bush came along yet I don't every hear complaints about the previous administrations. Truth is, that Louisiana government and city government are some of the most corrupt and now we're discovering that the massive failure falls at their doorstep more than anywhere else. Your gratuitous shots at our current President are insipid and partisan. When will you "artistes" get it. Nobody cares what you say and nobody listens. I don't even know why I'm writing this to you. Your comments are about as valuable as your music. Worthless!

Burt, Shut up. If your analytical abilities allow you to score Bush worse than a loser by the fact that Katrina was "forecast" a few days in advance and yet (horrors!) "Bush" continued to "fund" the Iraq war, and this makes him "the worst president since you were born", oh, please, shut the f**k up. What a childishly stupid comparison. You want to show "compassion", "concern for your fellow man"? You've been walking in Michael Moore's fart-filled dust too long. You've lost your senses. No-one who doesn't owe you money or sex would take such a comment the least bit seriously. Just shut the f**k up.

Burt! Stick to what you know best....music. You really should get your facts straight before you go off on President Bush. It has been known for decades, the destruction a category 4 or 5 hurricane could do to New Orleans. The state of Louisiana had been given all kinds of federal money for levee work, but the state and local politicians chose to spend the money elsewhere. Also, when the levee system was to be upgraded in the 1970's to withstand a category 4 or 5 hurricane....in light of the destruction of Hurricane Camille in 1969, the environmentalists fought the idea and stopped any projects. They wanted to protect the "marshes" and "wetlands". President Bush has authorized more money for projects in Louisiana than any other President in history. What's really a disgrace is your ignorance and attempt for some publicity....I have always loved your songs.....no more, you are so over!!!
