Hey there, i am a 3rd year drama student in the UK. I am currently now starting my dissertation which is on: The notion of the american dream, with focus on Britney Spears and the effects of the media. Would anyone be able to contribute to my studdies? I am lokking for comments on the subject by fans, 'haters', professionals, and paparazi. I would really appreciate any comments or if i could e-mail any one this would also be helpful... I am also interested to know if i am the first person to do a dissertation on Britney!!? Thanks... Just got back from seeing Britney at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Pretty good show. The circus theme was great. Did anybody else see the show? If so, what did you think of it?

Britney is great on stage, but I heard she takes meds like Confidrex to keep her anxiety down. I guess whatever she takes is working because she has come back and is looking great.

I know exactly what you are going through, I have been there, losing my second born and three weeks later my sister and going through a divorce, loved and still love my husband and its been 6 years without him and missing him gets bigger. I was dumped into a depression state not anybody can think off. I never thought I was going to get through it and luckily I had my two boys to hang onto. When looking at you and seeing you the way you are and the sadness that surrounds you is touching me deeply and it frustrates me that I cannot be there with you to help you beat this depression you are going through. I know, nobody will offer help that is why I am here to try and support you, girl. Depression and hurt is not a nice symptom to have, sometimes it feels that your brain litterly swells so big that want to pop out of your head and the anxiety is unbearable. But it does get better. I have turned myself completely to God and He never lets you down. Handing yourself over to Him Britney, will be the best thing that you have ever done. God is the best medicine for what you are going through right now. And if you speak to Him right now, will you find that He has been waiting for you all along, and that He has been ready a long time ago to speak to you, so that He can help picking you up and give that first step to healing. Go for it Britney, and I will keep you in my prayers and it won't be long, your life will be sorted out and you will have your two babies with you sooner than you think. I'm sure it came as no surprise when Britney Spears so called guy pal, Sam Lufti, called Barbara Walters to let her know Britney was seeing a psychiatrist and had some "mental issues". Duh Sam. Like the entire civilized world doesn't know that. Britney has traveled so far down that slippery slope that this viewer doesn't think she'll ever get back up. her new bff is a freaking paparazzi. I think the press should leave Britney alone. That was terrible what they did to her. Britney will get through this and will be stonger. She deserves better. Don't listen to them Britney you are better than them. Don't give up. God Bless you xx

I don't want to sound like a doctor but I have been saying this Day 1. Britney Spears has PostPartum Depression and it has been left untreated and she tried to mask her condition with drugs and alcohol. She never had a problem before she became a mommy and it happened right after Sean Preston's birth that she started her zaniness which only became worse having Jayden exactly 1 year later. It cal also happen 15 month after having the baby. It is the scariest thing to go through. Your mental health is horrible. You would rather be in physical pain. Has anyone ever approached this subjest instead of saying she is crazy, or sending her to rehab. Get it together people and help this girl before Kevin doesn't have a mommy to fight his kids for. They won't have a mommy the way this poor girl is going. It can also be hereditary. So Jamie Lynn better be careful. I hope someone who truly knows her will see this and actually see that this may be the problem. God Bless you hun. Get better for your kids if not for yourself. They need you. When you get through this you will be back better than ever and I don't mean for your fans but for yourself and your babies. You still have a fan in me. I have faith in you.

Brittney, there are a lot of ppl going through what you are right now but not in the public eye on thing you should rem is that NOBODY knows what you feel or how the kids are affected by this I am a mother of 3 and I know what you are going through! Trust me I have been there and he don't care about the kids its the money. Doesnt the Family's even worry about the kids and their welfare? He had 2 kids with Shar Jackson and didn't take her for custody bc she didn't have the money like you believe that. I know that you are strong and hold on tight you are in for a bumpy road. These ppl don't care about none of this but to make a name for themselves. You are pretty and have a whole lifetime ahead of you and we are only human! I feel that it is wrong to mess with a child and the mother kids belong with the mom's NOBODY can do it better than us!! Hang in there it gets worse before it gets better!! I think she didn't know how to handle all the craziness properly (but seriouslly... uh WHO WOULD!?) and she was just so protected that she just rebelled (she has said that A LOT in her various interviews and all I have to say is she wrote a song about it too lol... "Overprotected" anyone? Anyway, in rebelling she gave the media more to be obsessed with, which made it even more crazy and... I just wish all the craziness in her life now would stop. I feel so bad for it. It's worse now than ever.

Dear Britney, My name is Sarah Cunningham and i live in Scotland United Kingdom.I have seen numerous footage of you on tv recently and i have heard alot on the news. I am writing this in the hope that maybe you will read it as i want to send you all my support. I have had a really bad time in the past 4 years and really feel for you and the situation you are in. I feel i must tell you my experiences over those dreadful 4 years i mentioned earlier. Like yourself i am a mother to 5 beautiful children 3 girls and 2 boys.But in March 2003 my world was blown apart. In the early hours of 10th March 2003 my house went on fire and as a result i lost 2 of my children. My daughter Brooke was 2 years old and my son Jack was 5 months,i feel i must let you know that they did not suffer they just went to sleep and never woke up they were not physically hurt in any way. On the 11th March 2003 at around 6am my daughter Brooke passed away and i cannot explain in any words the loss i felt and still do feel to this day,at around 6pm on the same day my son Jack also passed away so again the loss was and still is unbearable.I am not a religious person but on that horrible day i took great comfort in the thought that both my babies were making their last journey together instead of on their own.I even went to the Next shop and bought them both an outfit you know Next clothes for their Next life or that was my thinking at the time.You know Britney i have got so much respect for you as a young star and a young mother and i don't doubt for 1 minute that you love your boys dearly and that you are more than capable of caring and caring well for them,i also believe that life is not easy for you at the moment and i suppose that i just wanted to write to you and let you know that life is hard sometimes but believe me Britney you are strong enough to get through this and get your sons back. I got a strength back in March 2003 and to this day i don't know where it came from but it was definately their and i suppose it is still here today getting me through life and everything life throws at me. Britney i guess what i'm trying to say to you is this you have the chance to get your boys back and give them a great life with a great mother because i honestly believe you are a great mother please don't throw them away they need you and i know that you need them so give yourself the break Britney and get your life back on track honey i know you can do it and hell i'm miles away in Scotland,but if i were in America i would gladly come and see you and give you a great hug as you deserve to be happy and have everything you want out of life. I'm not really sure why everyone has to have a hate for her. Ya she's made some bad choices, her last bf and what not. But I think after the problems of the MTV awards show and her new album coming out, which is absolutely incredible, she will turn things back up. Well...what can I say?. I enjoy Mrs. Spears music. It seems she has gone through some mayor emotional volatilities after her past love affair. I know she`s a strong lady with a heart of gold. I think of her as an emotions artist and she has awakened in us some very strong emotions recently. I truely hope she finds a good healthy love in her life that appreciates her for her true emotions and not for the illusion she seems to be.

I am persoanlly a fan of Britney Spears. Esp when I was younger. I went to one of her concerts and it was one of the best put together concerts I had been to in a longggg time. Her performance at the VMA'S on the other hand was somethingggg else. She looked like someone beat her. Or scared her before she went on stage.
