Bob has indeen changed alot of things in the world. Sometimes i feel people don't realize that. he is a great man and has done an awful lot for charity and people should remember that. he has saved lives. like for instance the press were saying that Bob's approach to africa's problems were with a concert and they were critising his idea saying it won't work. but it did work and it has worked he saved that young girl's life birhan 20 years ago through live aid. So that proved the press wrong. Bob won't ever give up on africa never no matter what anyone tells him. Bob isn't the type of person to back down and I think that's a great thing to have, to be able to stick to your guns no matter what is thrown at you. bob is a great guy. he is certainly someone i look up to and admire. Hello Bob Geldof is one of the most important figures in music.He has changed the way we think about it. he managed to change the 80s from a me me me era to a historical charity era which is absolotley brilliant. dvd. . There is not a bad word to say about this man who wateched a tv report and gave us one of the best seeling records ever "Do they know its christmas" ans then to live aid and then recenly band aid 20 to live 8. Bob Geldof is not 'Sir'.He is not a British subject & was only given an honoury Knighthood.Which does not entitle him to use the term 'Sir'.So please do not give this vastly overated & misguided individual a title he niether warrants or deserves.

Twin to save Africa Here in the UK town/village twining takes place with other towns/villages somewhere in Europe or beyond, this always seems to be links between like minded financially based communities. How about a new approach? FOR SIR BOB! Twin Africa! This would be where a town/village in the UK twins with an African village, the input from this would be fantastic. Local authorities, Schools, Churches, Individuals, Garden Clubs, Footballs clubs etc could get involved in supporting financially & physically the twined village, We in the West could really help the other continent, it would become a personal commitment with results wich would be seen This scheme people power would really be making a difference !

Heya all....I dont know who actually reads this, but i still would like to say how amazing Sir Bob Geldof is and was, with his solo career and his career with The boomtown rats. I have all their albums, and one of Sir bob's, and i think they are great. Sir bob Geldof deserves a heck of a lot of credit as he has done so much to be extremely proud of.
