Barbra Streisand Message Board and Comments

I had a bit of luck & alot of networking with a friend who works in enterainment in the U.K. & U.S.A. in obtaining 2 tickets for Barbra's "The Concert" world tour when she performed @ Madison Square Gardens in New York City on June 26, 1994. By far the most memorable & totally awesome concert event that I have ever had the pleasure of attending. She was funnier than I thought she would be & shorter/smaller too. I like how she made "fun of" or joked about her hairstyles, nails, past boyfriends, movie roles etc. She introduced several celebrity guests at the show but made the most out of the fact that her 2 god daughters were in attendance. I liked the fact that the antique furniture on stage was her own. I shopped 'til I dropped at the Barbra bontique in the lobby at intermission. I even had a glass of champagne with strawberries. Babs was & continues to be a CLASS act. Saw her as well at The Air Canada Centre in Ocotber 2006 & it was a totally different show. Barbra has never ever rained on my parade but rather she & her music have been with me since the age of 9 when I heard "Second Hand Rose" for the 1st time! Streisand is 1 of the few remaining & reigning "divas" that truly acts out a song when she is singing. Thanks Barbra for all you have done & continue to do for justice, human rights & kindness in this challenging world!

Barbra Streisand the most powerful female vocalist in the world. Has she lost her passion? Perhaps she needs to be inspired by new music. I have listened to your amazing voice since I was 15. I am almost 50. Thank you. You brought me to my spiritual self so many times. I would love to see you in concert. What a special gift you brought to us. Catherine.

I am not sure why some people want to make negatiave comments about someone that they don't really know....I think she is an excellent performer and is entitled to her personal life ...even though we might want to know...we dont have the right to invade her privacy ...She looks really happy since marrying Brolin who I think is a real hunk....but enough said ...as a person who would llike to know I respect her privacy...I love her as a performer and wish her and her fammily well....

I think her movies are fab. her albums are awsome!! And Barbra herself?? HELLO GORGEOUS!!
