X Press 2

In the beginning there was Jack, and Jack had a groove, and from this groove came the groove of all grooves. And then along came X-PRESS 2, arriving like a tardy train, as subtle as an AK-47, full of breakdowns, sirens, horns, stabs and Lord knows what else. While Jack was minimal, artful, stealthy, a relentless groove, X-PRESS 2 was none of these, but it was brilliant all the same. Instead X-PRESS 2's first singles were manifestos of intent, big sprayed blocks of graffiti scrawls, classic product of their London suburban environment.
