Durutti Column Biography
Durutti Column return with their first studio album since Sex and Death 6 years ago and the response in media land has been incredible. Formed by guitarist Vini Reilly and signed by Tony Wilson for Factory Records in 1978, The Durutti Column continued to record for them until 1998. Indeed the film based on Factory and the Hacienda will feature Vini in a pivotal role. His minimalist jazz based style of guitar playing is world renowned and he has featured on works by Morrissey and New Order.
