Demi Moore

Demi Moore was born in Roswell, New Mexico in 1962. Demi Moore's family life was full of turmoil, poverty. Demi's Dad left home when before she was born and he never saw the star "Demi Moore" we all no today as he committed suicide when she was 18yrs old. Demi's Mum remarried Danny Guynes, hence Demi being known as Demetria Gene Guynes.

By her eighteenth birthday Demi had undergone 2 operations on her eyes to correct a squint. After the surgery Demi used her looks to gain modeling roles in Europe. In the same year Demi also married rock musician 'Freddie Moore (II)'; the marriage lasted four years. Through Demi Moore's marriage to Freddie Demi was exposed to the Hollywood glitterati with which she fell in love and decided to pursue a career in acting.

Demi had many acting roles in the early years from being a staple on the soap opera General Hospital to co-starring in "Blame it on Ri" with Michael Caine. Then came Demi Moore's involvement with the eighties Hollywood Brat Pack. Demi starred in St Elmo's Fire alongside the likes of Emilio Estevez, Rob Lowe, Judd Nelson and Andie MacDowell. Demi Moore was married twice in the eighties firstly to Emilio Estevez and later to Bruce Willis who at the time was probably the number one actor in Hollywood.

It was the release of 1990's Ghost that really took Demi Moore's acting career up a gear. Demi co-starred in the movie with Patrick Swayze and the world-wide success of the movie opened up lots of other roles for the actress. Big hitting movies followed such as "A Few Good Men" starring Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson, "Indecent Proposal" and "Disclosure".

The next movie Demi Moore was to star in gathered so much hype in it's year of release, even though it was a poor film, it catapulted Demi to being a household name all over the world. The movie was Striptease directed by Andrew Bergman and starring Burt Reynolds. Striptease launched Demi Moore as a figure head of female sexuality and her appearance on the cover of Vanity Fair naked while seven months pregnant only served to solidify this persona.

Since then Demi Moore has split with husband of 11 years, Bruce Willis, and shacked up with Ashton Kutcher a young face in Hollywood almost half her age.
