Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt (DOB 18th December 1963) is an A-list Hollywood Actor and film producer whose high profile relationships and 'Sexiest man alive' status, have earned greater importance in the media than his acting skills.

Pitt first came to fame for a lot of people playing the role of 'J.D' in the successful 1991 road movie Thelma and Louise. Featuring a wild sex scene with Gina Davies, the scene turned heads and the years to follow proved fruitful for Pitt.

More films followed including 'Legends of the fall' and 'Se7en' where Pitt starred alongside Morgan Freeman as a police detective who hunts a serial killer played by Kevin Spacey. Pitt then went onto to be nominated for an Academy Award as Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Jeffrey Goines in the 1995 film Twelve Monkeys.

Towards the end of the century and into the next, further film roles, notably, Fight Club with Ed Norton and Snatch with Jason Stratham clearly shone through with fans and critics alike.

Into the 2000s, Brad Pitt then went to feature in Ocean's Eleven and Ocean's Twelve with fellow A-list royalty George Clooney, Julia Roberts and Matt Damon.

Epic Troy followed inbetween and also the critically acclaimed Babel. Starring alongside Cate Blanchett the film received no less than seven Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations, seeing a Golden Globe nomination and Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture go to Brad Pitt.

That same year, he also took a huge step in being recognised as a serious film producer, when he helped produce Martin Scorsese's The Departed. The eventual Academy Award winner for Best Picture, the film was a huge success with the film press and also with box office takings.

In 2007, he mixed his love of producing and acting when he produced and starred in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. Missing out on two Academy awards the film once again saw Brad Pitt fuse his passion for acting and producing.

With People's Sexist Man Alive awards in 1995 and 2000 it's of no surprise that Brad Pitt has attracted some of the most beautiful high profile actresses of our time.

Most famously his marriage to Friends star Jennifer Aniston and relationship with Angelina Jolie have seen regular coverage from the global media.
