Neve Campbell, the 37-year-old Canadian actress most famous for her role in the horror movie 'Scream 4', has filed for divorce from her husband John Light just five years after the couple were married, reports People Magazine. However, Campbell has seemingly kept the split out of the public eye as the documents were filed five months ago.
According to the divorce papers, filed in Los Angeles' Superior Court back in June 2010, the actress cited 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for the split. Campbell also specified that she did not want the court to award her 36-year-old husband spousal support. Light is a British actor best known for his theatre work, and has appeared in critically acclaimed productions of 'Julius Caesar', and William Shakespeare's 'The Tempest'. He also starred alongside Patrick Stewart in the 2003 film 'The Lion in Winter'.
Campbell and Light married in Malibu California in May 2007 after first meeting on the set of the 2001 independent movie 'Investigating Sex'. The divorce will be Campbell's second - she split from actor JEFF COLT back in 1997 after two years of marriage.
