Reunited cult rockers Neutral Milk Hotel returned to the stage on Friday (11Oct13) for the first time in 15 years.

Frontman Jeff Mangum reteamed with Scott Spillane, Julian Koster and Jeremy Barnes at St. John's Church in Baltimore, Maryland to kick off a string of live dates for fans.

The group revisited old hits, including Oh Comely, The King of Carrot Flowers Pt. 1, Two-Headed Boy and Ghost, during the set, as singer Mangum expressed his love for his bandmates, telling the audience, "I really do love all of these people."

The gig marked Neutral Milk Hotel's first since 1998, when they embarked on a lengthy hiatus.

They announced their reunion in April (13).
