Neil Patrick Harris has blasted reports he is worried about raising his new twins in the spotlight, insisting the speculation about his personal life is "made up".
The How I Met Your Mother star was left baffled after reading that he and his partner David Burtka fear the impact the actor's "fame and wealth" will have on their kids Gideon Scott and Harper Grace, who were born via a surrogate last week (12Oct10).
The couple was also said to be imposing strict rules on their children to ensure they have an "old-fashioned upbringing".
But Harris is fed up with the rumours, insisting there is no truth to them.
In a series of posts on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "What's the deal with popeater.com's Rob Shuter just making up stories? First I'm quitting the biz, now another? It's made up, gang. Boooo.
"Tried to ignore, then it gets picked up by other sites, (NY Post, etc.), and becomes understood as fact. Daddy no likey."
