Neil Diamond is refusing to let age slow him down - he has already planned a tour for when his new album is released next year (04).

The 62-year-old singer is determined to keep going while he still has the energy and drive to perform and the ability to entertain his legions of fans.

Diamond, who is busily writing material for the new LP, says, "You do think about stopping. You do get tired. I think I have one or two left in me.

"The reality is I'm going to keep doing it until the audience tells me to hang it up. I know that's what the bottom line is."

The legend's last tour, which included 117 dates across 15 months (SEP01-DEC02), grossed a staggering $80 million (GBP50 million).
