CBS's Two and a Half Men continued to produce commanding numbers Monday night, despite competition from the return of Fear Factor , which gave NBC the best ratings it has enjoyed on that night in years. The sitcom, which stars Ashton Kutcher, attracted 14.7 million men, making it the highest-rated show of the night on broadcast TV. (It also faced competition from Monday Night Football on ESPN, whose cable ratings were not immediately available.) A two hour Fear Factor that began at 8 00 p.m. averaged 8.6 million, but failed to give much of a boost to Rock Center with Brian Williams at 10 00 p.m. While the news magazine averaged 4 million viewers, up a bit from previous episodes, the boost was largely attributable to curiosity over the debut of Chelsea Clinton as a correspondent for the program.
