Hip-hop trio Naughty By Nature paid tribute to Tupac Shakur during their concert in New York this week to mark what would have been the late rap legend's 38th birthday.
Rappers Treach and Vin Rock took to the stage at B.B. Kings in Manhattan as part of the Hip Hop Legends 2 show on Wednesday night/Thursday morning (17/18Jun09).
They performed tracks from their 20-year career but made a point to honour the California Love star with a rendition of his song Hail Mary.
Treach told the crowd, "We want to take a minute to honour my homie Tupac, whose birthday was on Tuesday," before encouraging the audience to sing along to the 1997 tune.
Shakur was shot dead in Las Vegas in September 1996. His murder remains unsolved.
