Need a new sound track for the summer? Hampshire pop-rockers Natives may just have that covered with their new song 'This Island', set to be released as a single on July 23rd 2012.
Shot using Super 8 film, the video provides the perfect nostalgic feel that could easily be mistaken for a home movie of one brilliant lads holiday in 70's South-Eastern Spain. This is hardly your late night BBC 3 'Brits abroad' holiday though, this is an exploration of beautiful landscapes, mountainous back drops, vast national park waiting to be travelled around, a stunning causeway across the ocean and even a 'hidden lake.' If the song isn't enough to make you want to run to the sun, then the video definitely will want you heading in that direction.
The follow up to the band's recently released free download single, of the fittingly titled 'Big Plans', the boys from the New Forest look ready to make it big this year with their anthemic, You Me At Six-like sound.
The band are also due to hit the road this month with fellow rockers Futures and then again in October with Mayday Parade, making sure that just about everybody has the chance to go catch a look at the group before they're headlining shows themselves.
