Police officials in Georgia have appealed to the public for help in the investigation of singer Natina Reed's death on Friday (26Oct12).

The 32 year old, who rose to fame with R&B group Blaque in the 1990s, died on Friday night (26Oct12) after she was struck by a car while standing in a roadway.

Reed was transported to the Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, where she was later pronounced dead, and now detectives have asked locals for help as they attempt to piece together the deceased woman's final hours.

A statement from Sergeant Rich Long reads, "(Gwinnett County police would like to speak to) anyone who might have information about anything that could help us determine why she was there, anything to help us understand how this came together."

The driver of the vehicle does not appear to be at fault.
