Cars 3 - Extended Trailer

Former Piston Cup Champion Lightning McQueen was a hero in his day, but it seems in the last few years technology has improved so much that he is constantly being out-run by newer and more advanced models. His latest rival is the super-speedy newcomer Jackson Storm, whose arrogant attitude makes McQueen desperate to beat him once and for all. Naturally, he's being bugged constantly about his plans for retirement, but to him it only feels like yesterday that he was a rookie himself making waves in the racing world. It doesn't matter how many tricks he learns to up his game, however, he'll never be the racer he once was. But his friends are nonetheless determined to train him up to be the best he can be, led by the young and enthusiastic technician Cruz Ramirez. He might never be able to match Jackson's speed, but that doesn't mean he can't outsmart him on the track.

Is This Geordie Accent From US Show 'Castle' The Worst Attempt Ever?

Nathan Fillion

Whether we’re impersonating Cheryl Fernandez-Versini or Ant and Dec, we’ve probably all tried our hand at doing a Geordie accent. But on US TV series ‘Castle’, a new character might have just raised the bar as far as bad Geordie accents go, with his confusing and frankly hilarious attempt.

Nathan FillionNathan Fillion stars in ABC’s ‘Castle’.

Actor Greg Bryan, played a character named Alistair Gascoyne who hailed from Newcastle in episode 13 of the comedy-drama’s eighth season, but it was hard to tell exactly where his accent was from.

Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters Review

Good

There can't have been a very big demand for a sequel to 2010's The Lightning Thief, but at least this is another adequate adventure for the teen demigods. Much more child-friendly than the first movie, this episode is essentially just a series of heavily animated action set-pieces strung together by the flimsiest of plots. At least it has a sense of energy and some jagged humour to keep grown-ups engaged.

At Half-blood Camp, the refuge for the children of gods with mortals, Percy (Lerman) continues his rivalry with hot-shot Clarisse (Rambin). And when the protective barrier around the camp is poisoned, it's Clarisse who leads a mission to find the healing Golden Fleece in the Sea of Monsters. But Percy knows that he's the subject of a prophecy about the fleece being used to resurrect the destructive Chronos, and that his nemesis Luke (Abel) is up to something evil. So Percy takes his friends Grover and Annabeth (Jackson and Daddario), plus his newly discovered cyclops half-brother Tyson (Smith), and heads off on his own quest.

Despite a few close calls in which characters come close to death, we're pretty sure nothing nasty will happen to these young franchise characters. But director Freudenthal (Diary of a Wimpy Kid) never hangs around long enough for us to realise that there isn't actually any suspense or intrigue in the plot. The film's pace is frantic, as the characters bolt from one crazy scenario to the next, often without bothering to logically connect the two. Several scenes could be cut without changing the story, while others are pure indulgence, such as Fillion's extended cameo as Luke's parcel-delivering father Hermes.

Monsters University Review

Excellent

Pixar revisits the characters from 2001's Monsters, Inc. for a frat-house prequel. Which is kind of an odd setting for a kids' movie. The comedy is more focussed on action sequences than characters this time, so it's not nearly as satisfying. But it's still a lot of fun, thanks to a constant barrage of sharp verbal and visual gags.

When he was just a child, Mike (Crystal) dreamed about becoming a scarer, capturing the screams of human children to provide power to Monstropolis. So he's thrilled when he enters Monsters University, and takes his studies very seriously. By contrast, his roommate Randy (Buscemi) is more interested in partying, while classmate Sulley (Goodman) is lazily coasting on the legacy of his famed scarer dad. Then Mike and Sulley end up on the wrong side of Dean Hardscrabble (Mirren), who gives them one chance to stay in school: they have to win the Scare Games. But the only frat-house that needs them is made up of unscary misfits: nice-guy Dan (Murray), two-headed dimwit Terry/Terri (Hayes/Foley), naive five-eyed Squishy (Sohn) and furry philosopher Art (Day).

We never really doubt where this is going, but the filmmakers have a lot of fun along the way, and the story does take some surprising twists. Essentially, it's the same premise as Glee, with nerdy outcasts banding together to draw on their personal talents and show the cool kids that they're not losers. The script never really develops any of the side characters beyond one key personality trait, but the relationship between Mike and Sulley has a real kick of emotional resonance, superbly well-voiced by Crystal and Goodman. And the bromance between these two is even more enjoyable than all the colourful mayhem and snappy joking around.

Joss Whedon Reinvents Shakespeare With Stunning 'Much Ado About Nothing'

Joss Whedon Amy Acker Alexis Denisof Nathan Fillion

Joss Whedon proves he is more than just the guy behind The Avengers with Much Ado About Nothing, a 2012 independent romantic comedy film based on the William Shakespeare play of the same name. The movie stars Amy Acker, Alexis Denisof and Nathan Fillion and premiered at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival. It has gained stunning reviews ahead of its North American theatrical release this week.

Generally considered to be Shakespeare's finest comedy, the story follows two pairs of lovers, Benedick and Beatrice and Claudio and Hero. The former couple are witty and often proclaim their disdain for love, while the latter are young, perhaps naïve and infatuated with one another. Critics fell in love with the Whedon's reimagining of the play, "Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing is both a palate cleanser for the director and a small but savory treat for Shakespeare-starved audiences," said Kenneth Turan of the Los Angeles Times. Lou Lumenick of the New York Post agreed, writing, "Joss Whedon's fresh and cheeky adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing is a minor miracle - the first filmed Shakespeare comedy in decades that's actually funny." The Hollywood Reporter called it "one of the funniest Shakespeare films in ages," while Andrew O'Hehir of Salon.com said, "It definitely possesses that Whedon-esque nerdy energy, fizzing with humor, eroticism, booze and more than a hint of danger."

Shot in just 12 days, primarily at Joss Whedon's own residence in Santa Monica, California, the black-and-white movie hits selected theaters in the U.S. on Friday (June 7, 2013).

The trailer for the second instalment of the Percy Jackson series 'The Sea of Monsters' is finally here welcoming the return of four members of 'The Lightning Thief's all-star cast along with some exciting new additions.

Following a pretty harrowing school year in discovering that his father is the Greek god Poseidon in 'Percy Jackson & the Lightning Thief', Percy Jackson's ordeal is nowhere near over. In the words of Spider-Man, 'With great power comes great responsibility' and that certainly applies here as now the new Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters trailer shows that Percy is forced to defend his half-god friends and family from the destructive forces of  Kronos; a force so evil his sons Zeus, Hades and Poseidon had him destroyed. With his dark spirit now a threat to the world, Percy must recover the Golden Fleece; the only object that can save the world and which is located in the unambiguously named Sea of Monsters. Returning to join him on his quest is his good friend Annabeth Chase played by Alexandra Daddario plus new additions in the shape Douglas Smith as his half-brother Tyson and Leven Rambin, who plays the feisty Clarisse, daughter of the God of War. Logan Lerman makes his return as Percy and Jake Abel is back as the double-crossing son of Hermes, Luke. We also see Brandon T. Jackson back as Percy's best friend Grover Underwood, who's less than happy about Percy's dangerous mission.

To get hold of it, Percy must band together with the daughter of the God of War, Clarisse La Rue; his half-brother Tyson; and his other trusted friend Annabeth Chase.
