Nate Dogg was laid to rest in Long Beach, California, on Saturday (26th March 2011)Nate Dogg, the American rapper who passed away from heart failure two weeks ago, was laid to rest in a touching memorial service at the weekend, reports MTV News.The 41-year-old's friend and peer Snoop Dogg has paid respect to the rapper in a particularly artistic fashion. Snoop tweeted a photograph of his new 'Nate Dogg' tattoo yesterday, with the caption "All Doggs Go To Heaven". The portrait, which sits on Snoop's left forearm, was drawn by the famous tattoo artist Mister Cartoons, who also tweeted a photograph of the artwork. The rapper attended the funeral along with a number of heavyweights from the world of rap and R&B, including Dr Dre, The Game, DJ Quik, Warren G and Mack-10. Speaking about the atmosphere at the ceremony, Power 106 radio host Big Boy said, "It's just a lot of positive energy in there, man... We shared Nate Dogg with everyone around the world, so it's definitely up to us to make sure that we honor him. He opened up a lot of doors, man; he gave the world a lot of music".
Nate Dogg, most famous for his smash-hit record 'Regulate', passed away on 15th March 2011 from congestive heart failure.
