The stars came out in honour of Natasha Richardson on Wednesday night (10Feb10), with celebrities including Lady GaGa, Meryl Streep and Sigourney Weaver braving the snowy New York weather to pay tribute to the late actress.
Organisers of the AmfAR gala rolled out the red carpet to raise money for HIV/AIDS and dedicated the event to Richardson, who was a big supporter of the cause before the tragic skiing accident that claimed her life last March (09).
Lady Gaga stole the show, arriving wearing nothing but white underwear and a small bolero jacket, with pearls encrusted all over her body. She took to the stage at the event to perform new song Future Love on top of a white piano, while Hollywood actress Streep also entertained the star-studded crowd with an a cappella rendition of an Irish song.
The event, which was nearly cancelled because of the heavy snow fall in the Big Apple, was attended by Richardson's sister Joely, her mother Vanessa Redgrave, as well as stars including Heidi Klum, Cyndi Lauper, Zoe Saldana and Cynthia Nixon.
