SPECIES star Natasha Henstridge has joined the race to play the new female James Bond in DAISY SCARLETT: SEMPER OCCULTUS.
Producers of the big-budget adventure movie are set to make an announcement about their leading lady next month (NOV05) - ahead of filming, which is expected to start in January (06), according to movie website Moviehole.net.
Naomi Watts was the initial favourite to land the role of the no-nonsense MI6 agent, but Sienna Miller and Keira Knightley have also reportedly showed interest in the script.
THE FULL MONTY star Hugo Speer has already signed up to play a sinister agent in the film, while roles have also been rumoured to have been written for Donnie Yen and Kelly Brook.
POINT BREAK director Kathryn Bigelow and Joe Carnahan are fighting to take charge of the much-anticipated film, which will be shot in London, France, South Africa and Morocco.
