Natasha Giggs is no stranger to ruffling feathers and she did just that when she was announced as a contender for this year's Celebrity Mum of the year. Giggs may have become something of a household name when she entered the Celebrity Big Brother house but she's not exactly famous for promoting good family values. She is better known for having an affair with her brother in law; both her husband and his brother are well-known British footballers. It has now been announced, though that Giggs has NOT made the shortlist for Celebrity Mum of the Year.
Natasha's response to the news that she'd been dropped from the contest with a a post on her Twitter page that read "Oh no I've been dropped from 'celeb mum of the year' #Devoed #honest," later confirming that she was being sarcastic. She had already dismissed her inclusion in the voting stages of the contest as a publicity stunt on the part of the contest organisers, when she wrote a message that said "Can u not see I was nominated to get u all talkin about it? And u fell 4 it #mugs (sic)" The contest, which is now down to its final ten, includes nominees such as Amanda Holden, Danielle Lloyd, Holly Willoughby, Victoria Beckham and Natasha's former CBB housemate Nicola McLean.
Natasha also had a message for Stacey Solomon, last year's winner of the title, who was stripped of her 2012 nomination by the sponsor, Foxy Bingo, when she was caught smoking whilst pregnant. Natasha sent a public message to Stacey that read "I honestly don't think anyone had the right to judge u as a mother other than your children and loved ones! X"
