Late movie legend Natalie Wood's Mercedes Roadster is set to hit the auction block in Los Angeles later this summer (12).
The sporty 250sl Roadster/Coupe Automatic will be among the items going under the hammer at a Profiles in History sale in July (12).
Wood purchased the car in 1967 and the vehicle comes with its original metal Protect-O-Plate 'Certicard' issued from Mercedes-Benz reading in part: "Natalie Wood, 191 N. Bentley Ave., Los Angeles, California, 5/9/67, 250sl, 113043-12-000551."
Painted white and upholstered in black vinyl, the car has been restored to near perfect factory condition. The 250sl is a rare auction item as it was only built in 1967 and 1968.
It is expected to fetch up to $50,000 (£31,250) at the sale.
