Actress Natalie Portman had to master a British accent for her latest film, V For Vendetta, and loved it so much, she refused to switch back to her American twang.
The CLOSER star spent a month working with a dialect coach and became obsessed with sounding like a Brit.
She says, "I stayed in the accent all the time. They told me that's the best way to get the tune and rhythm.
"But then my mom said, 'Really, Natalie, enough already. This is crazy.'
"I'd call her on the phone and be like, 'Hello, Mum.'"
