Natalie Portman is pitching a comedy entitled 'Bring Your Own' to movie studios.
The 'Black Swan' actress would play a leading role in the film - written by herself and college friend Laura Moses - which tells the tale of two women who are unlucky in love and decide to attend a party where both have to bring an eligible bachelor.
According to the Los Angeles Times, most studios have passed on the project - which may cast Anne Hathaway opposite Portman - meaning it may have to be financed independently.
Executives who have read The Script for 'Bring Your Own', the first movie penned by Natalie Portman, reveal the plotline is similar to a female-themed 'Superbad' - the Gregg Mottola-directed comedy starring Jonah Hill and Michael Cera.
Portman has a number of forthcoming projects following the promotion of Darren Aronofsky's 'Black Swan' including 'Thor' as Jane Foster and 'No Strings Attached' alongside Ashton Kutcher.
