A New York graffiti artist is out to seek compensation from Nas after the rapper prominently featured his artwork in his new video JUST A MOMENT.
ADOLF BASTENDORF was thrilled to see his 9/11 tribute, which he sprayed on a Brooklyn building, in the promo - until he realised he wasn't being credited for the art, which features as the backdrop to Nas.
He says, "This is my art, this my voice, my colours. It's just as if someone had stolen my soundbites, or my rhythms or my lyrics."
Bastendorf is hoping not to file charges against Nas - he hopes the rapper will appreciate he posed in front of his art and pay him a little compensation.23/03/2005 02:54
