Narvin Kimball Dies In New Orleans - Comments and Message Board

My wife and I first met Narvin at Preservation Hall where he autographed an album for us. As thanks, I gave him the gold pen he signed it with. The next meeting was backstage at Royce Hall UCLA. He showed us that he still had the Cross pen I had given him in New Orleans. My wife and I met Narvin and his wife by accident before a show at the Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach, California. Those three meetings were brief but I am convinced that he was indeed a wonderful gentleman.May the eternal light shine upon him and may the memory of his good life stay with and guide those remaining here in space and time.
