Naomi Watts showed off her chic new hairstyle at the 'Salt' premiere on Monday (19.07.10).

The mother-of-two looked stylish and fashionable with her poker-straight blonde hair draped over her collarbone complete with a long side-swept fringe, which was created by Robert Vetica.

The hairstylist cut two inches off her locks, which were left slightly longer at the front, and he was very pleased with the final results.

He said: "It was quite a change for Naomi. They were first cut long and blunt, then razored and texturised to about the bridge of the nose so they looked lighter around the face."

To complement her new hair, Naomi donned a stunning silver strapless dress to the event Los Angeles.

The Australian beauty is normally seen with her hair scraped back and in casual clothes as she plays with her sons, Alexander, two, and 18-month-old Samuel, and she has previously said she likes the natural look.

She said: "You definitely stand out more being blonde. When I had dark hair I felt more anonymous, but it was fun. I love the combination of dark hair and blue eyes. I like my hair straight and natural. People always want to curl it, for some reason."
